Please note that for a stirrup of this design (with a quick-release arm), a 100% release cannot be guaranteed in the event of a fall. Several factors may prevent release, such as a horse falling on the rider, a loose girth causing the saddle to slip, or an unusual exit angle that does not generate enough lateral force to open the arm. This remains very rare, but riders should be aware that no stirrup can account for every situation.
