Remove hair, dirt and dried sweat with a stiff brush, and ensure all Velcro fastenings are fully closed before washing
Machine wash at 30°C on a cold/wool cycle, preferably in a laundry bag
Use a wool-specific detergent
Smooth out the cotton fabric after washing
Air dry away from any heat source — never tumble dry
Avoid using strong fabric softeners.
