- First, pierce the bottom of a dark-coloured plastic bucket (preferably black).
- Hang it upside down using approximately 1 metre of string.
- Apply the glue gel evenly over the entire surface of the bucket using a brush or spatula.
- Position the traps around stables and paddocks, or near at-risk areas (ponds, standing water).
- Place the glue traps every 10 to 20 metres around the areas to protect, ideally in a sunny spot.
If the glue has been stored at temperatures below 20°C, leave it in the sun for a few hours to make it easier to spread.
