• Suitable for ridden work or lungeing — the rope glides more easily through the pulleys, helping to prevent the horse from hollowing.
• The gogue should be adjusted gradually during work. The aim is to encourage the horse to stretch its neck forward and horizontally, and to lift its back.
• Recommended for horses with an inverted neck, a hollow back, or those affected by a restrictive riding style.

As with all training aids, it's important not to set it too short — especially at the beginning of a session. The goal is not to restrict the horse, which would cause resistance, but to establish a framework within which the horse can find its own balance freely.

The gogue is a training aid intended for rehabilitation purposes.
Its use should be temporary and adapted to a specific stage of the horse's training. It is not suitable for permanent use.
The gogue may also help reduce resistances linked to back pain, but it does not resolve the underlying cause.

Condition new leather with neatsfoot oil. Clean regularly with glycerin saddle soap.

Nourish with a leather balm or leather grease.
