• AIRSAFE jackets combine elegance and safety for both competition (with the AIRSAFE show jacket) and training (with the softshell jacket or sleeveless gilet). The airbag lining is specially developed by Privilège Equitation to protect you in the event of a fall (neck, spine, coccyx, chest, pelvis). The design and exceptional stretch of AIRSAFE fabrics allow the airbag to inflate optimally in 0.123 seconds (within 0.01 or 0.02 seconds depending on atmospheric conditions such as pressure and temperature) — well before you reach the ground, as the average time between a rider being unseated and landing is around 0.2 seconds.
• In the classic way, the jacket connects to the saddle via two straps — one that clips onto the stirrup leather slots and has a ring in the center, and a second attached to a compressed air cartridge, itself connected to the first via a carabiner. The AIRSAFE lining is compatible with all jackets in the AIRSAFE range, so you can use it with show jackets, the softshell jacket, or the sleeveless gilet.
• The trigger passes discreetly through the jacket via a small hidden slit, and connects to the saddle in the classic way. The airbag lining attaches to the jacket via 2 zip fasteners at the front and 5 press studs around the neck.
• The jacket fastens with a zip closure.
