• The Winter ointment has an optimal application temperature between -12 and 8°C.

• The black ointment stays on the surface and nourishes primarily from the outside, taking longer to absorb.
• When the Classic ointment becomes too firm, it's time to switch to the Winter ointment. Likewise, when the Winter ointment becomes too runny, switch back to the mid-season ointment.

Using a brush, apply the ointment to a dry, clean, and healthy hoof two to three times a week — covering the outer hoof wall with special attention to the coronary band, the frog, and the periople.

Daily application can help prevent cracks, brittle hooves, and thrush.

With regular daily use, the ointment will encourage stronger hoof growth.
