Ungula Naturalis - Black Summer Hoof Ointment

• Depending on the country or region, the summer ointment has an optimal application temperature of between 18 and 30°C.
  
• It deeply nourishes, softens, moisturises and strengthens the horn and frog.
  
• Thanks to select oils in its formula, it disinfects the frog without drying it out.
  
• It gives the hoof a beautiful finish by tinting it black.
  
• The black ointment stays on the surface and nourishes primarily from the outside, taking longer to absorb.
  
•  This ointment is ideal in summer thanks to its powerful softening properties.
  
• However, when it hardens during application in autumn, switching to the Classic ointment is recommended.
  
• The black tint is more effective on brown or black hooves than on white hooves.
  

Using a brush, apply the ointment to the outer hoof wall two to three times a week, focusing on the coronary band as well as the frog and the periople.

Application can be done daily to prevent cracks and brittle hooves.

In conditions of very low humidity, daily greasing is recommended to keep the hoof supple and flexible.
