Lathering the shampoo:
Wet your horse's coat.
Dampen the sponge and apply the shampoo.
Use the sponge to work the shampoo into a lather with circular movements over the coat.
Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Avoid scrubbing too vigorously to prevent irritating your horse's skin, especially in sensitive areas.
Use separate sponges for the coat and sensitive areas to avoid cross-contamination.
Watch your horse's reaction, particularly when cleaning sensitive areas, to ensure they remain comfortable.
