Lathering the shampoo:
Wet your horse's coat.
Wet the sponge and apply the shampoo.
Use the sponge to work the shampoo into a lather with circular movements over the coat.
Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Avoid scrubbing too vigorously to prevent irritating your horse's skin, especially on sensitive areas.
Use separate sponges for the coat and sensitive areas to avoid cross-contamination.
Watch your horse's reaction, especially when cleaning sensitive areas, to make sure he is comfortable.
Keep the sponge out of reach of children and animals when not in use.
Replace the sponge as soon as it shows signs of wear or deterioration to ensure optimal hygiene.

Rinsing after use:
After each use, rinse the sponge thoroughly with lukewarm water to remove any dirt, shampoo or cleaning product residue.

Drying: Gently squeeze the sponge to remove excess water, then leave it to air dry in a well-ventilated area.

Regular disinfection:
Soak the sponge in a mild disinfectant solution regularly to prevent the build-up of bacteria.

Storage: Store the sponge in a clean, dry place to prevent mould and unpleasant odours.
