• The best of leather combined with the practicality of synthetic — no more tedious oiling! A quick rinse under the tap and your reins are as good as new. These reins are made up of two parts: - High-resistance Nylon rope for smooth gliding through the bit rings. - Biotack® in the hand section, for its suppleness, finesse, and grip. Its feel allows you to distinguish it from the bit rein without looking. Attaches to the girth via snap hooks or with the tab for girths without a D-ring.

• Running reins, also known as German reins, are much longer than standard reins. They run from the girth, through the bit rings, and back up to the rider's hands. The fixed attachment sits at the chest (or on either side of the saddle). The reins slide freely through the bit rings — whether the rider adjusts their length or the horse moves its head.
• When properly fitted, they define the maximum elevation of the neck — the height the head should not exceed. They are not "adjusted" in the traditional sense; they only come into contact when the horse raises its neck above a carefully chosen point. The head-neck angle should remain open — running reins are not meant to bring the horse on the bit.
