TdeT - Mixed Biotack® and Brown Rope Running Reins

• The best of both worlds — the quality of leather combined with the ease of synthetic materials. No more tedious oiling! A quick rinse under water and your reins are as good as new. These reins are made up of two parts: - Nylon rope, highly wear-resistant, for smooth gliding through the bit rings. - Biotack® in the hand section, for its suppleness, fineness, and grip. Its feel allows you to distinguish it from the bit rein without looking. Attaches to the girth via snap hooks, or with the tab for girths without a D-ring.

• Running reins, also known as sliding reins, are much longer than standard reins. They attach to the girth, pass through the bit rings, and return up to the rider's hands. The fixed attachment sits at the chest (or on either side of the saddle). The reins slide freely through the bit rings — whether the rider adjusts their length or the horse moves its head.
• When properly fitted, running reins define the maximum elevation of the neck — the point beyond which the horse's head should not rise. Unlike regular reins, they are not "adjusted" in the traditional sense; they only come into contact when the horse raises its neck above a chosen point. The head-neck angle must remain open — running reins are not intended to bring the horse onto the bit.
