• Limits head elevation. This training aid consists of two elastic segments ending in rings, extended by leather straps connecting to the surcingle or girth
• The end fastens to the ring of the headcollar or to the lateral D-ring of the cavesson.
• As with all training aids, it is important not to adjust it too short, especially at the start of a session. The goal is not to restrict the horse — which would cause resistance — but to set a framework within which the horse can find its balance freely.
• It can be used ridden or on the lunge and attaches to the girth or surcingle on each side of the horse.
  

  Fitted with elastics and rubber rings, this training aid can be used in a lateral or central configuration. The Pirelli attaches on one side to the surcingle and on the other to the bit.
