Spark - Hippodrome Children's Airbag Vest

• The Hippodrome airbag vest by Spark!
• Where performance meets safety
• New deployment system inflates in under 200 ms, delivering Level 2 performance once the vest is inflated
• Made from 600-denier polyester, a strong and wear-resistant fabric
• Secure fit thanks in particular to three fastening clips and an interior Velcro adjustment strap at the waist. The vest offers excellent protection while adapting to your shape
• Quick, easy tether attachment
• Protection for the entire upper body, from the cervical vertebrae to the tailbone, thanks to air released into the lower chamber when the cartridge activates
• A tether attaches to the saddle’s stirrup bars to connect the airbag. If the rider separates from the saddle, the vest inflates instantly to help protect them during the fall
• In a fall, the upper and lower sections of the vest deploy around the neck and lower back, providing maximum protection on impact
• When inflated, the vest helps absorb impacts, cushion the rider and support their head during a fall
• Vest equipped with a replaceable gas cartridge for use in the event of a fall
• Lightweight and breathable, it can be worn over other clothing at temperatures from 0°C to 45°C to ensure its effectiveness
• Shaped arm openings and mesh panels offer full freedom of movement, comfort and improved breathability
• Elastic panels below the ribs help prevent a feeling of tightness when the airbag deploys, especially in winter
• For eventing, the Hippodrome Spark vest may be worn in official competition only alongside a protective body vest meeting current standards, presently CE EN 13158:2018 BETA Level 3. Always check local regulations for permitted use

With rider safety at its core, Spark has developed innovative airbag systems designed to provide optimal protection in the event of a fall. Their equipment features sophisticated sensors that detect sudden movements and falls, instantly triggering the airbag to wrap around the rider's upper body. This creates a protective barrier against impact and significantly reduces the risk of serious injury. Spark's airbag vests are designed to be lightweight, comfortable, and discreet — giving riders the confidence to perform while preserving their freedom of movement.
