• The design of AIRSAFE jackets and the exceptional elasticity of their fabrics have been engineered to allow optimal airbag inflation in just 0.123 seconds (within 0.01 to 0.02 seconds depending on atmospheric conditions such as pressure and temperature). Since the average time between a rider being unseated and hitting the ground is around 0.2 seconds, the jacket will be fully deployed well before impact. 
• In the traditional way, the jacket connects to the saddle via two straps: the first hooks onto the stirrup leathers and features a ring in the centre.
• A second strap attaches to a compressed air cartridge, connected to the first via a carabiner. The AIRSAFE lining is compatible with all jackets in the AIRSAFE range — use it with competition jackets, the softshell jacket, or the sleeveless gilet.
• The trigger runs through the jacket via a discreet slit and attaches to the saddle in the traditional way. The airbag lining attaches to the jacket via 2 zip fasteners at the front and 5 press studs around the neck.
