• Stainless steel with thick mouthpiece
• Mouthpiece thickness: 21 mm

• The pelham bit is often recommended for better control of stronger, more forward-going horses. It produces a lowering effect when the reins are attached to the lower ring, and a slightly raising effect when attached to the larger ring.
• The longer the shanks, the greater the leverage effect.
  The pelham can be used with 2 or 4 reins. It can also be used without a curb chain to soften its action on the mouth.
  You can also use a leather strap as a replacement for the metal curb chain.
