Metalab Pinchless Leather D-Ring Bit

• The Metalab Verdun Pinchless leather bit is soft, natural, and comfortable — designed to avoid any overly cold contact.
• The Verdun bit's D-shape provides clear framing for the horse. It is often used for horses that struggle with steering.
• The rings are D-shaped and rotate on a single axis only, which prevents pinching at the corners of the mouth. The flat side of the D-ring makes this bit more direct than a loose-ring or eggbutt snaffle.
• The "Pinchless" link is designed to prevent accidental pinching of the tongue or the corners of the mouth. It helps build the horse's confidence in the rider's hand, improving connection and relaxation.
• The Verdun bit resembles a classic snaffle, but its D-shaped rings do not slide on the cheeks. Like the pin bit, the Verdun is often recommended to better guide and channel young horses.
