- The straight Metalab Elite 2-ring snaffle is recommended for horses that need more tongue contact, or that are ridden with a contact, for example in show jumping.
- The Elite bit with central roller maintains left/right independence like a standard jointed snaffle, but with no risk of pinching and with greater stability.
- The mouthpieces are curved for improved ergonomics.
- Additionally, the mouthpiece attaches to the rings via an extended tube, eliminating any risk of pinching at the lip corners and distributing pressure more evenly on both sides of the mouth.
- Note that this extended tube on each side applies pressure to the opposite side from where you pull, signaling to the horse where to position its head, reinforcing the desired directional cue and minimizing the force required.
