Metalab - Baucher Loose Ring Snaffle Straight Mouthpiece
- The Metalab Baucher loose ring snaffle with straight mouthpiece is perfect for horses that need more tongue contact.
- The central roller maintains left/right independence like a standard jointed snaffle, but with no risk of pinching and greater stability.
- The mouthpiece bars are curved for improved ergonomics.
- What makes this bit truly special are the Baucher shanks, which create a downward lever effect: they apply pressure on the poll, encouraging the horse to lower its head while requiring less pressure in the mouth.
-
This bit can be used for horses that are very sensitive at the corners of the mouth.
- Thanks to its subtle lever action, this bit encourages poll flexion. The Baucher is a firmer bit that requires a sensitive and educated hand. It is best avoided on horses that tend to come behind the vertical.
- Mouthpiece thickness: 14mm
Composition
- Stainless steel
- Rinse with clean water after each use until no residue remains.
- Do not use if the bit shows any defects (damage, rust, etc.).
