Description

Elastic breastplate, half-round and lined, with martingale fork. Stainless steel hardware.
The breastplate prevents the saddle from slipping backwards. It is therefore often used for showjumping, eventing or for horses with a round conformation. It is also frequently used to attach a martingale. The martingale prevents the horse from raising its head too high. When the martingale is attached to the breastplate, it serves a dual purpose.
