Lay the boots flat in the freezer for at least 6 to 8 hours, or the night before use for best results. Press firmly on the gel membrane to ensure a close, comfortable fit around the leg. Make sure the straps are fastened securely, but not too tight. Use during short sessions of 30 to 40 minutes, or several times a day in more severe cases. It is recommended to store them in an insulated bag when travelling — for example, at a show — to maintain the desired cooling effect.
