LeMieux Synthetic Wool Care

Remove hair, dirt, and dried sweat using a stiff brush.
Machine wash at 30°C on a cold/wool cycle or hand wash.
Use a wool-specific detergent.
Make sure all hooks and buckles are securely fastened before washing.
Reshape and smooth the fabric after washing. Air dry.
Never tumble dry.
Avoid using heavily concentrated fabric softeners.

Warning: In rare cases, the dye in black wool items may bleed and leave a slight blue tint. Grey horses' coats may be affected.

Leather Care

LeMieux leathers are pre-oiled. Leather is a natural material that needs regular care to stay in its best condition.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Leaving leather dirty, damp, or drying it too quickly can cause stiffening and cracking.

After everyday use, wipe lightly with lukewarm water and saddle soap. Air dry.

For a deeper clean, disassemble the leather. Clean thoroughly with lukewarm water and premium saddle soap. Air dry. Treat with a quality leather balm or oil, then buff the leather and metal parts with a soft cloth.

Always store your saddle in a cool, clean, and dry place.
