LeMieux Synthetic Wool Care

Remove hair, dirt and dried sweat with a stiff brush.
Machine wash at 30°C on a cold/wool cycle, or hand wash.
Use a wool detergent.
Make sure all hooks and buckles are securely fastened before washing.
Reshape and flatten the fabric after washing. Air dry.
Never tumble dry.
Avoid overly concentrated fabric softeners.

Warning: In rare cases, the dye on black wool items may bleed and leave a slight blue tint. Grey horses' coats may become stained.

Leather Care

LeMieux leathers are pre-oiled. Leather is a natural material that needs attention to stay in its best condition.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Leaving leather dirty, damp or drying it too quickly can cause stiffening and cracking.

After everyday use, wipe lightly with lukewarm water and saddle soap. Air dry.

For a deeper clean, disassemble the leather. Clean thoroughly with lukewarm water and a premium saddle soap. Air dry. Treat with a quality leather balm or oil, and polish the leather and metal parts with a soft cloth.

Always store the saddle in a cool, clean and dry place.
