KEP - Helmet Padding

• The inner padding of KEP Italia helmets is matched to each rider's size
• There are 12 paddings/sizes: the first eight (from 51 to 58) fit helmets in size M (medium), while the next four (from 59 to 62) fit helmets in size L (large)
• The padding is a very important element: it is its thickness that determines how well the helmet fits the rider's head
• The KEP Italia padding is made in one piece, easy to remove and reinsert inside the helmet
• Hand wash or machine wash at 30°C or in cold water
• Made from Coolmax® fabric, an innovative fiber that helps maintain a cool temperature and improves skin hydration
• It also wicks moisture away quickly (drying very fast)
• Since the padding is size-matched to the rider, a female rider who sometimes rides with her hair down and sometimes with it up can have two interchangeable paddings of different sizes
• The same applies to children who are still growing, as they can easily adapt their helmet to the size of their head
• Parents can purchase the next size up and replace the one that has become too small, without needing to buy a new helmet
• Since a helmet's protective capacity also depends on how well it fits the rider's head, KEP Italia has developed a range of specific paddings for oval or round heads and for narrower head shapes
• KEP Italia paddings are available in black (included with all KEP Italia helmets), beige (included with selected models featuring coordinating color details, and also available on request for all other helmets), endurance (with a micro-perforated mesh panel at the nape) and winter (designed to protect the rider's ears and nape from the cold)
