Usage

• Acts on the horse's balance by encouraging it to rebalance and shift weight onto the hindquarters.

• The larger the rings, the stronger the elevator action.

• Can be used directly on the elevator cheekpieces, with bit rings, or with four reins.
• The mouthpiece is slightly thick, but the leather softens completely once in the horse's mouth.
• The straight leather mouthpiece is a soft, natural, and comfortable bit.

• Requires minimal maintenance — rinse thoroughly and condition with paraffin oil or edible oil when the leather becomes stiff.

Of course, the "rebalancing" effect can only be achieved if the horse has sufficient muscle development and back flexibility. It should therefore be avoided with young horses or those that are not yet physically prepared.
• The bit is attached to the bridle via sliding rope cheekpieces that run inside two notches on the rings. The elevator cheekpieces act on the poll through the headpiece of the bridle.
• This bit requires a sensitive hand, as it often encourages the horse to curl behind the bit. It is therefore reserved for experienced riders.
