• The ring martingale is a running rein system made up of 2 straps: one attaches to the girth on one end, and splits into 2 parts fitted with rings that slide through the reins on the other. The second strap is a neck strap that wraps around the horse's neck to keep the system in place. Avoid setting it too short, as this may restrict the horse's neck movement.
• The ring martingale is not designed to bring the horse's head down, but to prevent head tossing.
