Usage

• Pessoa bit with a poll-lowering lever action
• Reins can be attached fixed to the lower ring, using rein connectors or as two pairs of reins.
• The leather-wrapped mouthpiece offers genuine comfort in the horse's mouth, encouraging relaxation against the leather while maintaining the action of the double-jointed German Silver bit.
• Prevents an unpleasantly cold contact in the mouth
• Requires very little maintenance — rinse thoroughly and condition with paraffin oil or food-grade oil as soon as the leather becomes stiff.
• The Pessoa bit encourages a higher head carriage in horses that tend to lean on their shoulders. The bit's intensity can be adjusted by positioning the reins on different rings — the lower ring providing the strongest action.
• It is also possible to use rein connectors and attach them to two of the three rings.
  More experienced riders can also use four reins, offering greater flexibility when adjusting the bit's strength.
