Jump'In - Elevator Bit Single-Jointed Leather-Covered
• Acts on the horse's balance by encouraging it to rebalance and shift its weight onto the hindquarters
• Requires specific cheekpieces
• The larger the rings, the stronger the elevator action
• The pins help channel and assist with direction
• Can be used directly on elevator cheekpieces, with bit converters or on four reins
• This bit is designed for horses that are heavy on the forehand and tend to lean strongly on the hand. The aim is to encourage the horse to lift its withers and shift weight onto the hindquarters. The rebalancing effect can only be achieved if the horse has sufficient musculature and back flexibility — best avoided on young horses or those that are physically underprepared.
• The bit is attached to the bridle via sliding rope cheekpieces that fit inside two slots on the rings. The elevator cheekpieces act on the poll through the headpiece of the bridle.
• This bit requires a sensitive hand, as it often encourages the horse to overbend. It is therefore reserved for experienced riders.
• Leather-covered cannons provide genuine comfort in the horse's mouth, encouraging relaxation on the leather while maintaining the tension of the bit
• Prevents an uncomfortably cold contact in the mouth
• Cannon thickness: 18 mm
• Ring size: 50 mm
• Leather bits are not guaranteed against biting, even from first use
