Jump'In - Single-Jointed Elevator Bit Leather-Covered
• Acts on the horse's balance, encouraging it to rebalance and shift its weight onto the hindquarters.
• Requires specific elevator cheekpieces
• The larger the rings, the stronger the elevator effect
• Can be used directly on elevator cheeks, with roundings, or as a double rein bit
• This bit is suited for horses that are heavy on the forehand and tend to lean strongly on the hand. The aim is to encourage the horse to lift its withers and transfer weight to the hindquarters. The "rebalancing" effect can only be achieved if the horse has sufficient muscle development and back flexibility. Best avoided with young horses or those that are not physically prepared.
• The bit is attached to the bridle via sliding rope cheekpieces running through two slots on the rings. The elevator cheeks act on the poll through the bridle headpiece.
• This bit requires a sensitive hand, as it often encourages the horse to come behind the vertical. It is therefore recommended for experienced riders only.
• Leather-covered cannons provide real comfort in the horse's mouth, encouraging relaxation while maintaining bit contact
• Avoids a cold feel in the mouth
• Mouthpiece thickness: 18 mm
• Ring size: 70 mm
• Leather bits are not guaranteed against bite damage, even from first use
