Double-jointed Blue Steel gag bit - Jump'In

• Gag bit with 70 mm rings and a 16 mm Blue Steel mouthpiece
• The Blue Steel alloy is composed of 54% carbon and 46% manganese
• Blue Steel bits oxidize when exposed to air and moisture, developing a thin layer of sweet-tasting rust that naturally encourages your horse to salivate
• Increased salivation helps the horse accept contact with the bit
• As it oxidizes, the color changes to gray-brown
• The bit encourages the horse to rebalance and shift weight onto the hindquarters
• The larger the rings, the stronger the gag action
• The self-locking single-jointed mouthpiece allows some freedom while providing added control when needed
• The double-jointed design relieves pressure on your horse’s palate for greater comfort
• The gag bit is ideal for horses that lose balance and tend to carry too much weight on the forehand
• A slightly slimmer mouthpiece allows for more refined aids

This bit can be used with reins attached directly to the lower ring, with bit converters, or with two pairs of reins.

Rinse the bit thoroughly after each use to prevent residue build-up and avoid discomfort for your horse.
