Hit Air - Airbag vest cartridges

Hit-Air cartridges have an advisory lifespan of 5 years, provided they are not exposed to prolonged heat and are stored away from moisture.

• The 50 cc cartridges weigh 156g gross and contain 38g of CO²
• The 60 cc cartridges weigh 186g gross and contain 42g of CO².
• As a precaution, we recommend weighing your cartridges annually.
• Due to shipping restrictions, CO₂ cartridges cannot be shipped internationally.

Which cartridge for which vest?

• Children's vest: 50cc cartridge
• Light vest:
• Size XS, S and M: 50cc
• Size M/L, L and XL: 60cc
• Full vest:
• Size XS and S: 50cc
• Size M and L: 60cc
• Older model vest
• Size S: 48cc

To re-arm your airbag vest:
• Unscrew the punctured gas cartridge
• Fully deflate the airbag. To do this, lay the vest flat on a surface and press down on each cushion to release the CO2. Fold the airbag cushions back in and refasten the press studs or velcro strips depending on your model.
• Insert the screw (included with your equipment) into the hole beneath the housing and begin tightening by hand, then continue with the allen key (also included) until the receptacle has lowered enough to receive the key ball
• Position the key ball inside the receptacle. The ring must be fully inserted and lying flat.
• Lower the red collar (if your vest has one) or hold the ball in place with your fingers while you loosen and remove the screw using the allen key. Then raise the red collar back to the upper position so it does not obstruct the ejection of the key ball when triggered.
• Screw in a new cartridge, making sure the seal is intact (unpunctured)

Make sure to check inside the pocket that holds the cartridge for the capacity compatible with your vest.
