• Stainless steel with ball-jointed mouthpiece
• A soft feel, but can be harsh in heavy hands

• This bit is intended for horses that tend to lean heavily on the hand. The aim is to encourage the horse to lift its withers and shift weight onto its hindquarters. Of course, the "rebalancing" effect can only be achieved if the horse has sufficient muscle tone and back suppleness — best avoided on young horses or those not yet physically prepared.
• The bit is attached to the bridle via sliding rope cheekpieces that run through two slots on the rings. The cheekpieces act on the poll through the headpiece of the bridle.
• This bit requires a soft and educated hand, as it can encourage the horse to curl behind the vertical. It is therefore best suited to experienced riders.
