• Rubber, copper, resin, flexi, or leather-covered bits may wear quickly depending on your horse's teeth.
• It is advisable not to use a heavily worn bit, as it may injure the horse. Always check the condition of your horse's bars, teeth, and palate.
• The Verdun bit has the look of a classic snaffle, but its D-shaped rings are fixed and do not slide along the mouthpiece. Like the gag bit, the Verdun is often recommended to better guide and focus young horses.
