Apple-scented "Flexi" broken mouthpiece, stainless steel shanks.
The Pessoa bit encourages a higher head carriage in horses that tend to lean on the forehand. The bit's action can be adjusted by changing the rein position on the rings — the lower ring gives the strongest action.
You can also use coupling rings and attach them to two of the three rings.
More experienced riders can also use four reins, allowing greater flexibility when adjusting the bit's action.
