Feeling - Straight Sensitive Pelham Bit

• Straight-mouthed Pelham bit made from an innovative, non-allergenic plastic material instead of heavy and/or cold metal or a metal alloy.
• Thanks to the steel reinforcement cable, these bits are gentle while allowing safe and secure control of the horse.
• The one-piece design of the bit and rings eliminates pinching of the tongue and corners of the lips, and protects the palate from irritation
• The Pelham bit is often recommended for better control of strong, forward-going horses. It has more of a lowering effect when the reins are attached to the lower ring, and a slightly raising effect when attached to the large ring.
• The longer the shanks, the greater the leverage effect.
  The Pelham can be used with 2 or 4 reins. It can also be used without a curb chain to soften its action on the mouth.
  You can also use a leather strap as a replacement for the metal curb chain.
