This system prevents the pad from compressing the 1st dorsal vertebra or collapsing onto the withers (the keystone of the spine). A true benefit for the horse, which, freed from these constraints, regains the balance essential to its performance. The SHELL PAD II can be combined with the conformator, which ensures a better connection between the saddle and the horse's back, resulting in a more even distribution of the rider's weight and girth pressure. The conformator comes with two foam inserts of different densities. These inserts are interchangeable so that the conformator can be adapted to your horse's individual needs.
