Airbag vest designed for equestrian sports.
It is worn close to the body, over a thin layer of clothing such as a T-shirt or lightweight knit.
This airbag is designed to protect the rider's vital areas.
When the Airbag vest deploys, multiple zones are protected:
- The airbag cushion covers the entire back (cervical, lumbar, sacrum, and pelvis) as well as the chest;
- Continuous lateral protection shields the hips and keeps the torso aligned in the event of a fall;
- The neck collar stabilises the spine and vital areas, limiting cervical injuries;
- The two front panels protect the chest and vital areas;
- The two back panels provide a perfect fit for optimised safety.
The inflation speed of the Airbag vest is 98ms — the time it takes to reach the pressure needed for optimal protection.

Flexible back plate for reduced pressure on the ribs.
Y cord: high-performance textile loop. Lighter and noise-free, with no carabiner from the elastic cord.
The compact gas generator keeps the vest lightweight.
Rearming is made easy thanks to the cap guide and a cap that can't be lost. A QR code is printed on each cartridge, linking to an instructional video on how to reload a new cartridge after a fall or deployment.
The ball retention clip allows for safe and easy repositioning of the ball cord.
Compatible with all garments certified under AFNOR NF S78-800-2022 standard. For competition jackets compatible with the airbag, they must carry the "FREEJUMP AIRBAG TECHNOLOGY-COMPATIBLE" label.
To ensure the vest functions correctly, it must be used exclusively with Pénélope Airlight by Freejump cartridges:
- 60 CC cartridges for adult sizes XXS to L
- 85 CC cartridges for adult sizes LT/XL/XXL
Using cartridges from another brand or not suited to the vest size voids all manufacturer warranties and liability.
Due to the presence of an air cartridge, this vest cannot be shipped internationally.

Your Airbag vest must fit perfectly — not too large, not too small.
Too tight, it could be dangerous when deployed; too loose, it may not protect you effectively.

The adult airbag vest, available from size XXS, is designed for individuals at least 1.45m tall and weighing a minimum of 35 kg.
Do not expose your airbag vest to high temperatures (storage on a radiator, near an open flame, or in a closed vehicle in direct sunlight).
Do not leave your airbag vest folded or rolled up for extended periods.

Do not machine wash or dry clean.
Do not submerge in water.
We recommend hand washing your airbag vest with a sponge using a mild detergent, without rubbing.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
Do not expose your airbag vest to high temperatures (storage on a radiator, near an open flame, or in a closed vehicle in direct sunlight).
Do not leave your airbag vest folded or rolled for extended periods.
Store your vest on a hanger in a dry place, away from moisture.
