Caring for your chaps:
Wipe your chaps with a damp cloth after every ride — mud and sweat can be very damaging to leather. Then moisturise the leather with a suitable conditioner, such as the Ego7 leather cream. Apply the cream generously over the entire surface of the chaps; using a brush works well. Once applied, buff the chaps with a wool cloth to help the cream absorb and leave the leather soft and smooth. Allow them to dry completely in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area. Keep them away from direct heat and light to prevent cracking.

When wearing your chaps for the first few times, guide the zipper gently with your fingers — avoid forcing or pulling too hard to prevent excessive strain.
Always make sure the zip is fully open before putting on or removing your chaps. Also ensure that clothing or other items do not get caught in the zipper mechanism.
