• The running martingale consists of 2 straps: one attaches to the girth on one end and splits into 2 parts fitted with rings that slide along the reins on the other. The second strap is a neck strap that goes around the horse's neck to keep the martingale in place. Avoid adjusting it too short, as this may restrict the horse's neck movement.
• The running martingale is not designed to bring the horse's head down, but to prevent head tossing.
