Initial bedding: For a 9 m² stable, spread 8 to 10 bags of miscanthus pellets across the surface to create a stable, comfortable, and non-slip base. No need to wet the bedding.

Daily: Remove droppings every day and bring the bedding back towards the centre of the stable. Do not disturb the urine patches, as these form the absorbent underlayer known as the "cake". The bedding will remain stable, keeping your horse comfortably off the ground. However, after approximately 1 week of use, take care to remove any excess damp bedding — often found in the centre of the stable — and add fresh bedding.

Weekly: Remove droppings and, if needed, sprinkle the surface with our Equidry bedding desiccant. This highly absorbent desiccant helps sanitise the bedding and limits the build-up of ammonia odours. If needed, add 1 to 2 bags of Equinova and spread evenly across the stable floor.

As the pellets are initially ground into flour and sawdust before pressing, they may break down into fine dust under certain humidity conditions. In this case, we recommend dampening the pellets slightly to limit this effect.

Do not hesitate to use a bedding desiccant to boost absorbency.
