1/ Measure 40g of powder into a 1.5-litre plastic bottle and add water halfway up.

2/ Replace the original cap and shake vigorously to mix the solution well.

3/ Remove the original cap and fit the Top Trap cap, gently pushing the bottle neck through the two attachment supports of the Top Trap holder.

4/ Place the trap bottles ±10m from the area you want to protect from flies.

5/ Position the trap bottles in full sunlight at a height of approximately 1.50m.

6/ Check the water level regularly and top up if evaporation occurs.

7/ When the trap no longer attracts flies, after approximately 30 days, empty the bottle and prepare a new trap with a fresh "Top Trap" refill.

Top Trap is effective for 30 days depending on the outside temperature.

The powder becomes effective within 48–72 hours and works optimally from 25°C.

IMPORTANT: if catches are low in the 10 days following setup, possible reasons include: temperature too low, few flies present, or poor trap placement. In that case, move the trap.
