Animaderm - Soothing Lotion for Irritated Skin Derfongen

• Purifies horse skin that is heavily irritated by moisture, mud, or associated fungi and bacteria.
• If crusts or hair loss appear on the body, particularly in areas where water runs off (neck, back, thighs...) and depending on the horse's condition, Derfongen can help remove crusts and boost epidermal regeneration.
• Waterproof.
• Resistant to mud, showering and sweat.
• Apply every 4 days on average.
• Softens and lifts crusts.

MOISTURE-RELATED ISSUES ON THE LEGS
Ideally for the first application, start with a Tea Tree shampoo to cleanse the skin and soften any crusts.
Dry with a towel, then apply the lotion directly to the affected legs.
Leave on for one hour and, if possible, apply Natjely balm on top to protect the area from further mud exposure.
Repeat the Derfongen application 4 days later (and Natjely if needed).

MOISTURE-RELATED ISSUES ON THE BACK OR OTHER AREAS OF THE BODY:
Apply the lotion directly to the affected areas, working it in well if the horse has a thick coat. Repeat the application 4 days later.
There is no need to shampoo or disinfect beforehand.

AFTER TREATMENT
As the area will have been weakened, we recommend a weekly application of Natjely (a neutral, moisturising balm) to support skin elasticity and prevent any new bacterial flare-ups.
