Ohlala's top tips for caring for your rugs:
- Start with a vacuum cleaner for an initial clean — this will remove a large amount of hair, dust, sand, and more.
- Then, pop it in the washing machine at 30°C, without stain remover or fabric softener.
- Do not tumble dry your rug — let it air dry instead.
- At the end of winter, we recommend storing your rugs in a rug bag to keep them protected from dust through the warmer months.
For outdoor rugs:
- You can add an extra step by re-waterproofing your rug.
- With a waterproofing spray for rugs, apply from a distance of approximately 20 cm over the surfaces you wish to re-waterproof.
