Ohlala's top tips for caring for your pads:

Machine washing:

• Before machine washing your pad, use a soft brush, a stopper, or the ultimate option — a Magic Brush to remove hair.
• If your pad has delicate details, turn it inside out and place it in a laundry bag to protect it.
• Use a natural detergent 🧴 (but no fabric softener — we want to keep our horses safe from any allergic reactions!)
• Or try adding LeMieux laundry balls to remove even more hair.
• Set the cycle to a maximum of 30 degrees.
• Do not put your pad in the dryer — let it air dry instead.

For pads with sheepskin:

• If your pad has a sheepskin section, don't hesitate to use a hairdryer at a distance of 20 cm to help maintain the volume of the sheepskin for as long as possible.

Leather, felt, gel, and mesh pads:

• We recommend washing your pads by hand! Use a soft brush or a slightly damp sponge.
• Add some Marseille soap, a little patience, and you'll get equally impressive results.
• Let it air dry.
