The Horseware story began with a small team in Dundalk, Ireland, in 1985. After months of research and hand-stitching, the prototype of the iconic Rambo Original was born — setting the standard for modern rug design.
Determined to create a rug that wouldn't leak, overheat the horse, or slip, founders Tom and Carol MacGuinness developed the first truly waterproof and breathable rug that actually worked.
Today, products are still made in the same Irish town under Tom's watchful eye, with the same attention to detail and high-quality materials as in 1985. Horseware is constantly striving to produce the very best.
