🤓 JOB DESCRIPTION
As you can tell, OHLALA moves fast — very fast — and does things differently!
We need you to lead our warehouse and logistics operations, reporting to the Director of our Business Unit.
This is a key role that will allow you to help elevate the customer experience at our company.
🚀 YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Logistics operations management and coordination
- Organize incoming shipments and goods reception (inbound and outbound flows);
- Manage and optimize goods storage locations;
- Manage and optimize picking location replenishment operations;
- Ensure orders are picked and packed correctly;
- Manage packaging operations;
- Ensure orders are dispatched within the required timeframes;
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of handling equipment;
- Develop and implement management and tracking tools, procedures, and ensure they are used correctly.
Team leadership
- Organize and lead the Logistics team through hands-on, day-to-day management;
- Ensure compliance with procedures, hygiene, and safety standards;
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and tidy;
- Contribute to team recruitment and career development;
- Control costs (overtime hours, temporary staff — contract terminations)
Inventory management
- Ensure warehousing rules and standards are followed;
- Organize inventory counts;
- Manage stock flows
- Meet deadlines consistently
- Manage the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse
- Ensure stock is maintained in good condition.
Relationships
- Build and maintain relationships with partners (carriers, staffing agencies, goods/consumables suppliers, and technology solution providers…);
- Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with other departments (marketing/communications, customer support, purchasing…)
Involvement in continuous improvement projects
- Monitor industry trends to stay ahead of new tools that keep the company competitive and innovative;
- Lead and drive projects;
- Uphold quality standards

💪 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Hold a Bachelor's to Master's degree in supply chain management with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role (REQUIRED), or demonstrate at least 5 years' experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
- Forklift certification required (CACES)
- Proficient in OMS / WMS / TMS (Shiphero preferred) and comfortable with Excel / Google Sheets
- Experience managing a team (recruitment, onboarding, development, crisis management…) and the ability to foster a strong team spirit
- Comfortable communicating with various service providers and suppliers
- Be highly organized and detail-oriented
- Have an entrepreneurial mindset
- Knowledge of equestrian products and the ability to communicate in English are a plus.
