• The Correction Impact shock absorber is used to improve the adjustment and balance of the saddle. This shock absorber is perfect for young horses or horses whose body shape changes a lot, because you can constantly correct the position of the saddle on the back of the horse.
• The shock absorber has a damping function to filter all irregularities during the session thus giving the horse and the rider a better experience.
• With a more suitable saddle and shocks are absorbed, the horse's muscles feel relieved and can then move more freely. The rider will benefit from a more stable saddle which has multiple ergonomic advantages.

How the shock absorber works

• Thanks to the 6 felt inserts, you can completely adjust the shock absorber to the back of the horse's back. The saddle will be more suitable and the back of the horse will benefit in the long term.
• To absorb shocks, we have not only used layers of felt, but we also provided the shock a memory foam that absorbs shocks and our 3D Spacer material. The 3D Spacer is made up of a gel absorbing shocks which makes it possible to absorb all the impacts during the use of the saddle.
• Using these exceptional materials, we have created a correction shock absorber which is 20 to 30% lighter than most other shock absorbers available on the market. Not only is the shock absorber lighter than the others, but it will also improve communication between you and your horse, because the saddle is more suitable and keep you close contact.

What is inside

• The correction shock absorber has 3 pockets on each side filled with 3 layers of different thickness felt (2mm, 3mm and 4mm). The layers can be combined or used separately depending on the correction you need, ranging from 2mm to 9mm. In order to minimize the saddle pressure and maximize shock absorption, the shock absorber is supplied with a 10 mm shape foam.
• This memory foam is known for its protection in the army and for extreme sports, this will ensure the best protection for the back of your horse. Thanks to the amortizing effect of the 3D Spacer, the correction shock absorber is very breathable and permeable in the air to prevent the horse's back from heating up.
• The cup for the tourniquet is made of artificial leather and offers great comfort by reducing the preset on the spine of the horse. To ensure the position of the shock absorber during the session, the shock absorber has a silicone non-slip pattern.

For an optimal result, it is advisable to consult a saddler, an osteopath or a veterinarian to adjust the holds to the correct thickness.

First, remove the felt layers inside the shock absorber.
You can then machine wash it at 30 degrees. Let it dry in the open air afterwards.

Small tips Ohlala to maintain your cushions:

Machine washing:

• Before putting your cushion in the machine, use a a soft brush, a stopper or the best of the best, a Magic Brush to remove the hairs.
• If your cushion has fragile details, turn it inside out and slip it into a washing bag to protect it.
• Use a natural detergent 🧼 (but no softener to avoid allergic reactions in our horses!)
• We can also add washing balls LeMieux that will help us remove even more hairs.
• Set the cycle to a maximum of 30 degrees.
• Do not put your cushion in the dryer; let it air dry.

If cushions with sheep wool:

• If your cushion has a wool part, do not hesitate to use your hairdryer at a distance of 20 cm from your cushion to keep the volume of the wool as long as possible.

Cushions made of leather, felt, gel, and mesh:

• We recommend washing your cushions by hand! A soft brush, or with a sponge, slightly damp.
• Add some Marseille soap, a little patience and here is a just as conclusive result.
• Let it air dry.
