Special features
- The Combo classic waterproof fly rug protects your horse from flies and rain. This blanket is therefore perfect for rainy but warm days from spring to fall.
- The combination of materials makes the rug extremely breathable, which provides comfort for your horse at all times.
Fabrics and materials
- The back of the blanket is made from our classic waterproof fabric. This fabric is a 600D ripstop polyester. This material is extremely strong and therefore perfect for horses that are outdoors.
- The waterproof fabric has a water column of 10,000 mm, which guarantees a horse that is always dry. The waterproof top has a smooth, antibacterial polyester lining.
- The sides of the rug are made of breathable mesh fabric to protect your horse from all kinds of insects.
- Both materials serve as UV protection on sunny days and are highly breathable to prevent overheating.
Shape and size
- The waterproof fly rug is anatomically shaped and closes with 2 front fasteners and 2 surcingles and remains in Kentucky style.
- A detachable collar is included and closes with 2 sturdy hook-and-loop fasteners.
- Hook and loop fasteners to attach the collar to the blanket are located inside the collar. This helps prevent water from seeping into the cover.
- Take a vacuum cleaner for a first cleaning: this will allow you to remove a huge part of the hair, dust, sand, etc.
- Then, head to the washing machine, at 30 degrees, without stain remover and without softener.
- Do not put your blanket in the dryer, let it air dry.
- At the end of winter we advise you to opt for a cover bag which will insulate them from dust during sunny days.
For outdoor covers:
- You can add a step by re-waterproofing your cover.
- With a waterproofing agent for roofs , spray from a distance of approximately 20 cm on the surfaces that you wish to make waterproof again.
