Size
- Branches: 45 mm
- Canon thickness: 17 mm
Use
- Compromise between the bridle and the net
- More or less strong lever depending on the length of the branches, and the adjustment of the gourmette
- Can be rising live, with alliances or in four reins
- Leads to a neck assignment as well as pressure on the mandibles
- The double broken breaking allows the tension to be released on the simple breakdown palate
- The Pelham bit is often indicated to better control the somewhat strong horses with blood. Rather, it causes a lowering effect when the reins are fixed on the bottom ring and slightly lifter when fixed on the large rings.
The longer the branches of the bit, the greater the lever effect.
The pelham can be used with 2 or 4 reins. Likewise, it is possible to use it without gourmet to soften your action on your mouth.
You can also use a leather strap to replace the metal gourmet.
