Size
- Branches: 45 mm
- Canon thickness: 17 mm
Use
- Compromise between the bridle and the net
- More or less strong lever depending on the length of the branches, and the adjustment of the gourmette
- Can be rising live, with alliances or in four reins
- Leads to a neck assignment as well as pressure on the mandibles
- The double broken breaking allows the tension to be released on the simple breakdown palate
- The central break is made of stainless steel in order to block the jaw in an anatomical form during the action of the hand. Thus allowing a stronger action in case of very strong contact
- The Pelham bit is often indicated to better control the somewhat strong horses with blood. Rather, it causes a lowering effect when the reins are fixed on the bottom ring and slightly lifter when fixed on the large rings.
- The longer the branches of the bit, the greater the lever effect.
The pelham can be used with 2 or 4 reins. Likewise, it is possible to use it without gourmet to soften your action on your mouth.
You can also use a leather strap to replace the metal gourmet.
