Straps, halters, shock absorbers and even sheepskin protections are ultra trendy. Chic, comfort and softness, we can only adopt them!
But the most recurring question is the one that holds you back the most from acquiring the soft equipment of your dreams:
How to maintain sheep material?
You can opt for different types of maintenance.
Kentucky Horsewear , THE fashionable brand of sheepskin equipment, offers equipment in synthetic material allowing easy maintenance .
You can in fact put your synthetic sheepskin items in the machine at 30°C . Remember to gently brush your sheepskin material with a soft brush to remove sand and hair before putting it in the machine.
Let your items dry in the open air , but be careful, no tumble dryer :)! This could damage and cause the sheep to fluff.
Once the sheep is completely dry, give it a quick brush with a soft brush to give it a new effect ! You are ready to go to competitions with very clean equipment.
For natural sheepskin items, we recommend hand washing .
Immerse your equipment in a basin of lukewarm water after giving it a quick brush with a soft brush to remove sand and hair . Add a little detergent by hand and rub gently, making the soap lather on the sheep. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water then squeeze dry .
Still no dryer! Also prefer to dry in the open air .
